‘Rise’ Releases February 2nd!
Aww look. That’s me when I was six.
When I loved life and animals, wanted to be a vet and talked to dolphins on the regular. Another striking feature is that I obviously didn’t give a crap what people thought of me, or my intense lack of fashion sense and proprietry.
In 2022, I’m aiming to be more like her, — sans the toplessness.
I want to return to trusting my intuition and living life aligned with who I am, instead of draining all my energy fighting against it.
In many ways, I feel like 2021 was preparation for this year. Manoeuvring everything into place and preparing me for all this newness.
So this year, you’ll find new covers on the Awenmell Series, and many other adjustments and changes as I adapt to this new version of myself.
Drumroll please . . . .
Here’s the sparkling newness you’ve all been so patiently waiting for. . . .
Rise, Awenmell Series Book Two, launches on Feb 2, 2022.
“Who do you think you are?”
For Ashling, safety has always been found in pretending to be what others wanted her to be.
But pretending is no longer an option. The people await the arrival of the Eariss, and Ash must discover what it means to bear that title.
As an unlikely band of refugees from the unrest gather around her, Ash finds her confidence and comfort in learning to be herself . . . though the prophetic scroll stubbornly refuses to reveal anything about the all-powerful weapon the Eariss will draw on to save the land.
But time is not on Ash’s side. As the world crumbles around her, and the fires burn closer to home and those she loves best, Ash must choose between staying safe and comfortable in the world she’s built and donning the mantle of leadership to save the people and society she was born to serve.
In an adventure that challenges her mind, body, and soul in search of the elusive weapon that only she can use, Ash is confronted with a terrible realization; either she wields this new weapon and trusts in her destiny, or she fails; ushering in the torturous destruction of all she loves.
