Praise for Magic Man

⭐⭐⭐⭐

I really enjoy the way Lisa King writes her stories and the characters in them. She has a beautiful writing style and the characters and story are given real depth. This book follows Tabar who didn’t appear in her previous book Awenmell so this could easily be read and enjoyed as a stand-alone novel. Having read both books though, for me it brought a new insight into the world the author has created and more depth to the first book. I’m hoping to see more of Tabar as the series continues.

Thought-provoking, inspiring, life-changing… sometimes we don’t know that we need to hear or read something, but then we do. This book is not only an interesting delve into a character from Lisa King’s first novel ‘Crown of Fire’, but it’s also a story that had me purposely reading back over lines to fully take in the message. I really don’t know how else I can explain it but I love when you can take so much away from a story, and add it to that mental shelf of ‘meaningful books’. This novella is for anyone and everyone… and you never know but it may just be that book you needed to read!

I keep re-reading this book! I really love this story! So well written. I have already read it 5 or 6 times within a week of having the book! It doesn’t get old, and I keep finding myself thinking about the characters and wondering what’s happening in their lives. Thank you again for writing this book!

I love this concept of a character series intertwining with a book series. Can’t say I’ve come across it before with anything else I’ve read by other authors. It gave me an insight into a character of the ‘Crown Of Fire’ book that I wouldn’t normally have thought much about.
Overall, it’s a free novella and honestly, none of us say no to freebies!! But definitely worth reading because as I said before, it’s a different concept to the usual. I really enjoyed it. The author has a really unique way of writing and describing. I’ve also read her book Crown Of Fire and if you feel compelled to read it after reading this freebie, you’ll understand what I mean. Overall, if you’re after something to read that involves learning about how to love ones self-listening to what your soul is telling you to do and not others, learning to accept ourselves for who we are meant to be and not what the world tells us who we should be, and having to move through any trauma that may have impacted your life, then you just may relate to MM and Crown Of Fire. This author really does ‘just get it’ from a trauma point of view.

Interesting. I have not yet read any of her other works, but this showed me that the author has a talent for giving charters purpose , as well as teaching lessons that make you reflect on your own life.
