    Betrayal Garden

        Dark spores of betrayal float then settle in the quiet of the night. Tended in the garden alongside the other blooms they can’t resist the creator’s call growing and blooming according to their type. Petals willingly unfurl exposing their undeniable origin and intended purpose. Bladed cold stamens tear open with the perfume of rotting relationship Standing tall they proclaim ruin among the beauty of the tended garden. Exposed to the light justification is futile the stench of decaying trust overpowers the senses blinding inhaling permeating Announcing victory The careful gardener turns them into the soil ever tilling. Loyal blooms bow in gratitude Mindful that each tended garden depends on…
