Research is fascinating, and I LOVE it! Send me on a research trip and I'll be head down/bum up for the entire time. Now, I know I said at the start of this year I was going to have two/three books going at the same time, so I wouldn't get so bogged down like I did with Rise, but 2022 just hasn't worked out that way.

"Hey what’s with the dice?” I pointed to the small silver dice pendant that hung around my teacher’s neck. Don* was fresh out of university, and we’d struck up a friendship of sorts, based on our love of experiencing new things. He’d always wanted to learn to how to ride a motorbike, and I told him I’d happily oblige if he let me drive his hotted up car.
