The Nautilus awards are given to print books of exceptional merit that make a literary and heartfelt contribution to spiritual growth, high-level wellness, responsible leadership and positive social change & social justice, as well as to the worlds of art, creativity and inspiration.
It was an honour to recieve the YA fiction silver award for ‘Rise, Awenmell Book Two’ in April 2023.
Here’s my social media announcement from 1st May.
Oh my goodness!
I won a Nautilus Award!
*insert ridiculous happy dance here*
RISE, the second book in the Awenmell Series, has just been announced as a Silver Award Winner for 2023. One of the reasons I’m so excited is that the Nautilus Awards are the only international awards program I’ve ever been interested in winning, as they align so closely with my reasons and passion for writing. This is one seriously big tick off my bucket list
For more than 20 years, the Nautilus Awards have championed print books of exceptional merit that make a literary and heartfelt contribution to spiritual growth, high-level wellness, responsible leadership and positive social change & social justice, as they stimulate the imagination and inspire the reader to new possibilities for a better world.
I’m truly honoured that their venerable team of judges found RISE worthy this award season, and that they consider my works a fit for their mission statement of ‘Better books for a better world’.
I’d love to thank my personal team that made this award possible because of their love and attention to detail in getting RISE on the shelves, and into reader’s hands.
Thank you to all my readers too. You’re amazing and often send me wishes, blessings, notes, memes, and TinyCoffee (from my website), when I need it the most. Love you all xo
I’m already looking forward to slapping those shiny medallion stickers on my books!
